This November it will be 100 years since the Armistice was signed at the end of World War 1. To mark this occasion we want to have as big a display of poppies as we can. The plan is to knit, sew, crochet poppies and make a trail between the war memorial in church and the cross (which will be erected) at the bottom of the church drive. Any poppy pattern can be used as long as the poppy is reasonably weather proof. Contributions can be left in church or at the Crossroads. Any questions: please contact Sue Potter, Celia King or Jean Lodge.
