A new play written for the Wonderful Beast Theatre Company by Suffolk writer, Thea Smiley.
Facing extinction, the last Woodwose, a wild woman of the woods, tells the extraordinary story of her life through shape shifting, story-telling and magic.
The Last Woodwose weaves fact with fantasy in a magical, mythical tale illuminating the life-blood and wonders of the forest: the woodwose herself is its guardian.
Starring Hilary Greatorex, Rosalind Burt and Tim Fitzhigham with traditional songs and original music by Sylvia Hallett, directed by Alys Kuhl.
